For patients in the Tampa Bay area, the planned telehealth service will emphasize an organized review of the timeline, medication history, test results, functional changes, and questions that still need answers.
The goal of an online consultation is not to assume a diagnosis or replace necessary local care. It is to clarify what the available information may mean and whether additional evaluation is appropriate. NeurologistCare does not have a physical Tampa Bay office, and Florida care has not started.

What a Telehealth Neurology Visit Can—and Cannot—Do
When clinically appropriate and after the Florida service launches, secure telehealth can support a detailed interview, review of prior records, medication discussion, selected visual observations, and follow-up planning. A caregiver can also join when memory or communication concerns make another perspective helpful.
Telehealth does not replace every part of neurological care. Depending on the concern, a patient may need local laboratory testing, MRI or other imaging, EMG and nerve conduction testing, cognitive testing, a hands-on physical examination, or emergency evaluation. Not every neurological condition can be completely evaluated remotely.

Who We Expect to See
Once Florida telehealth becomes available, NeurologistCare plans to see Medicare patients and patients with commercial insurance plans that include out-of-network (OON) benefits.
Eligibility, coverage, reimbursement, out-of-network benefits, and patient responsibility depend on the individual insurance plan. Coverage is not guaranteed, and Florida billing eligibility will be confirmed before appointments become available.
