For some neurological questions, the first need is a careful interpretation of the symptom pattern and workup already completed. The planned statewide service would let patients in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida meet securely by video to discuss those details with a neurologist before deciding what should happen next.
Remote access can support coordination, but it does not make every test or examination virtual. This page describes a future service rather than a Northeast Florida clinic. NeurologistCare has no physical Florida office, local affiliation, or currently available Florida appointment.

Coordinating Online Review With Necessary Local Care
Once available, an online consultation may help review symptoms and prior results, discuss reasonable diagnostic possibilities, and identify questions for follow-up. When testing or hands-on assessment is needed, patients may be directed to obtain that care locally rather than treating video as a substitute.
Telehealth does not replace every part of neurological care. Depending on the concern, a patient may need local laboratory testing, MRI or other imaging, EMG and nerve conduction testing, cognitive testing, a hands-on physical examination, or emergency evaluation. Not every neurological condition can be completely evaluated remotely.

Who We Expect to See
Once Florida telehealth becomes available, NeurologistCare plans to see Medicare patients and patients with commercial insurance plans that include out-of-network (OON) benefits.
Eligibility, coverage, reimbursement, out-of-network benefits, and patient responsibility depend on the individual insurance plan. Coverage is not guaranteed, and Florida billing eligibility will be confirmed before appointments become available.
